Hello Greenwood Marching Woodman and Irish Guard Alumni,
I hope this message finds you doing well. We are so grateful you are OUR alumni. I am Casey Norton the current GBPO President. I want to say thanks for all your support thus far. I know our alumni and friends will always have our backs. In continuing the need to be successful we so desire to have donations to help bridge the gap to help all our students be amazing! Band is a place where all kids can learn and grow and continue your legacy! Building bonds that never break! Memories to hold on to.
Last fall our marching band invitational got cut short due to mother nature. She decided that she would have the last word and we had to cancel the 2nd half of our well-planned day. This led us to a huge decline in profits. The loss was around $12,000.00. Sadly. I want you to know the next morning when I woke up my phone was going wild! Many band parents messaging me encouraging the program all the way. They were full of fundraising ideas and we are doing every single thing we can to recoup those loses. Which brings me to you.
We value your support and If you would kindly consider a donation to our program we would love nothing more than to accept that. All donations are tax deductible. We look forward to the yearly Alumni and Friends Philanthropy Fundraiser.
