Hello Greenwood Marching Woodmen and Irish Guard Alumni and Friends,
I am the Greenwood Band Parent Organization President and have been involved in the program for the past 16 years. Last year Gayla Gunn, Class of 1977, approached us to do a yearly fundraiser where alumni and others who have been involved with the band and guard, could have the opportunity to make a direct donation to the program. Some groundwork had to be done first. An alumni database was set up and there were three Alumni Newsletters sent out to reconnect people from the past to today’s program.
This year we are happy to announce our first Alumni and Friends Philanthropy fundraiser. Fundraising is always a constant challenge for all bands. This is a simple way for you to help. A donation of any amount can be made at the above link. All donations are tax deductible.
